Podcast: The best and worst of E3 2018
Listen to our natter
The festival of dumb explosions known as E3 is over, but that won’t stop us. The RPS podcast, the Electronic Wireless Show, goes deep into the show, picking out our favourite games, the oddest moments, and best rats (spoiler: it was the one crushed by a shelf in the Resident Evil 2 trailer). We’re also introducing two new voices this week. Who are these strange people?
It’s Alice and Noa, obviously. We’ll get to know them a bit (and their darkest fears) but mostly it’s straight to work dissecting the viscera of E3. Alice is more excited for Ashen than Anthem, and highly rates Andrew WK’s performance at Bethesda’s press conference. Noa is looking forward to Beyond Good and Evil 2, but also the smiling root vegetables of Ooblets. And Brendan tells the story of how Hideo Kojima mildly inconvenienced him while visiting the show. Oh, and of course everyone is intrigued by Cyberpunk 2077.
There’s a lot to talk about but we've got a veritable nuclear blast of links below, so be sure to check out anything we mention that you haven’t caught up on.
You can listen above, or go straight to Soundcloud where you can download it for later.
You can also get the RSS feed here or find it on iTunes, Stitcher or Pocket Casts. Music is by lead singer of our metal band, Jack de Quidt.
