Being taught about games by children is pretty cool
The mouths of babes
Earlier in the week I talked about trying to explain my job/primary hobby to my grandparents. Today I have been considering the flip side of that, which is when small children explain video games to me. This is, essentially, the same thing - i.e. when I talk to my grandparents I am an impertinent infant who assumes they know better being kindly indulged.
Kids chatting at you about games is great, though, because unless you’re a YouTuber they give absolutely no benefit of the doubt to your ability to understand video games. No matter what you job is. You could be Phil “Big Philly” Spencer and the average six year old would be like “Clearly you know nothing of Minecraft, you fool.”
