Distraint 2 bringing more businessman horror this year

Business horror

What hope is there for someone who's done terrible, callous things to gain success? I'm asking for a friend. Also in relation to Distraint 2 [official site], a follow-up to 2015's side-scrolling psychological horror game about a chap securing a company partnership by turfing an elderly woman out her home. Creator Jesse Makkonen recently announced it for release around Halloween this year, describing it as "Silent Hill + Zelda + Monkey Island". Here, have a watch:

That's yer mood-setting announcement trailer. Makkonen says:

"Distraint 2 follows the events of the first game. It's a sinister tale about restoring hope and finding your purpose.

"How does one fight without hope?"

I wish Adam weren't swanning off around San Francisco, not a care nor crowded interview schedule in the world, as this seems like something he'd have played and I'd like to bug him about it. I know he liked the look of the first one, at least.

Here, this Distraint 2 gameplay video shows off a spot of puzzling, poking, and spooking:

Makkonen plans to launch Distraint 2 around Halloween this year. He's currently having a crack at Steam Greenlight. The first Distraint has is on sale right now too, with an 85% discount bringing it down to £0.55/0,69€/$0.69. Makkonen's Silence of the Sleep is on sale and all.
