Hot take: the Avengers Endgame trailer is not good

Spoilers for the MCU so far.

The first trailer for the next Avengers film just dropped. It’s called Avengers Endgame, and it sets up the movie to be a big last stand against Thanos, who has retired to his quiet country farm.

This is it. Do or die for the Avengers. Victory or bust. Of course in the scheme of things it won’t be because executives like making money, and boy does the MCU do that, and there are loads of different versions of the Avengers. But it might be the end for the current team of Avengers, which would actually be quite exciting. Sadly the trailer is not itself exciting.
