Jackbox is the best quarantine game
The perfect game in this age of social-distancing
Readers, I have a confession to make. Until last Christmas, I had presumed the Jackbox Party Pack games would be a load of rubbish. Perhaps it was because so many of them featured that slightly gormless looking bald chap on their thumbnails, or maybe it's just because I've been burned by too many awful Mario Party games. But for whatever reason, I always assumed they would be terrible compilations of sub-par minigames, masquerading as something better.
Then my husband and RPS vidbud Matthew suggested we play it at Christmas to try to entertain his family one night, and it was probably the most fun I've ever had playing something as a group. And now, thanks to a combination of Discord streaming and Steam's Remote Play feature, it's quickly becoming the highlight of life under lockdown at RPS as well. So I humbly apologise, Mr Jackbox. I will never again besmirch your good name, as you're one of the few things keeping us all sane right now.
