In Monster Hunter Wilds, Monster Fluid can only be collected by defeating monsters. The very best way to get Monster Fluid is by killing Nerscylla Hatchlings in the Iceshard Cliffs region. Dozens of these Hatchlings spawn at a time, and each one will give you 1x Monster Fluid upon killing them, allowing you to fill up on Monster Fluid extremely quickly.

Below is the full list of all monsters that give you Monster Fluid, the region you can find them in, and their drop rates.

How to farm Monster Fluid

The best way to farm Monster Fluid is to kill Nerscylla Hatchlings. These Hatchlings spawn in large quantities in the Iceshard Cliffs region, and each one has a 100% chance of giving you 1x Monster Fluid upon carving.

Nerscylla Hatchlings can be found in large quantities in Area 4 and Area 5 of the Iceshard Cliffs, with some cropping up in Area 2 as well. These areas can all be found on the very bottom layer of the Iceshard Cliffs region.

You can track Nerscylla Hatchlings on the map using the "Filter Icons" button, accessible with the D-Pad or A/D while in map view. Just remember that where Nerscylla Hatchlings can be found, the Nerscylla itself is likely not far away, so prepare for an encounter with a much larger and deadlier spider just in case.

If you haven't yet reached the Iceshard Cliffs, then the fastest way to harvest Monster Fluid is by killing Bulaqchi, which spawn in the first region, the Windward Plains. You can also kill Vespoids in the Scarlet Forest and the Oilwell Basin.

If you want to try taking on a large monster, then the Lala Barina in the Scarlet Forest will occasionally give you Monster Fluid as a target reward - although this isn't the best way to farm Monster Fluid, as the Lala Barina only gives you an 18% chance each time of obtaining Monster Fluid.

So if you really want to farm Monster Fluid, then it's best to wait until you reach the Iceshard Cliffs, and then kill and carve as many Nerscylla Hatchlings as you can find!
