Rediscovering the salty sea magic of Subnautica

Splish splash splosh

I went back to the splashy alien planet of Subnautica this weekend. It was like waking up from a really long, boring dream about being on Earth, only to discover I was still stuck on the salty, spectacular exoplanet. Yussss. It grabbed me all over again, the instant I dunked my head. I came back meaning to hurriedly finish the game's story so I could move on to Subnautica: Below Zero with a clear conscience. But when I started tinkering with submarine parts and exploring vast undersea caverns, I soon forgot about my hurry. What's the rush? This wet world was meant to be enjoyed slowly.
