So Dumb, So Great: Do Anything

Do Anything is so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so dumb.

And I love it.

Do Anything is a Molyjam Deux game inspired by the quote, "If you really were free to do anything in the world, I think you'd end up being confused, and that's a very interesting point, a design point, actually." So the idea (I think) is that the game enthusiastically pats you on the back for every minute shuffle of your feet, every dumb, pointless breath you draw. Also, there are acorns. Of course there are acorns.

To say much more would be to spoil the incredibly silly twists and turns Do Anything whiplashes its way into. Basically, it's one big dumb joke, but it made me laugh a lot, so I'm writing about it. The art's super terrible, the "message" is very surface-level, and there's no real point to it. But who cares? It's been a long week. For now, let's just giggle at something together.

And yes, that's the song from BrodyQuest.
