The questionable satisfaction of spinning cogs

Still the same old Spire

I wish I’d stop filling my spare time with games that amount to flicking cogs and watching them spin, but I am weak. I’m not talking about idle games like Cookie Clicker, which I’ve at least been strong enough to steer clear of. I’m talking about great games like Slay The Spire, which I’ve played to the point where my actions feel almost as automated.
