This Is Not A: Mirage


Origo send of their - and yes this is an announcement for PC, honestly it is - side-scrolling beat 'em up. It's called Mirage. They claim that is is "Told as a “Wuxia” story, which literally means “martial hero”," and that "Mirage captures the essence of a broad genre of Chinese fiction concerning the adventures of martial artists." The visual style (see it in the E3 video below) certainly looks fetching, but we all know the proof will be in the playing, which takes on a tag-team dynamic of swapping between the two protagonists as you progress. The developers S-Games previously made the Rainblood RPGs, which I have to admit I had not heard of until about twenty seconds ago.
