What To Play When The World Ends?

A bad thing happened. I appreciate that you might feel otherwise, and I hope that if you do it comes from an honest desire to see many lives improved rather than worsened, but from where I'm standing this is a terrifying time. Yesterday was strange and difficult, professionally, because I somehow had to write about videogames when my mind was concerned only with the fate of the world. Playing videogames, well, maybe that's different. These things can be comfort blankets. But what to play? What offers true escape from the worry, and what accentuates it?
