A developer diary for forthcoming offroad racing game WRC 3 feature Italian devs Milestone explaining why they thing this is the best rally game ever made. A good part of the reason for that belief rests with their new engine, which allows them to play with fancy lighting and particle effects, as well as employing something called "satellite modelling", which appears to be constructing their 3D tracks based on overhead satellite shots? Something like that.
Anyway, it appears faithful to current rallying realities, so go take a look.
The game is set for an October release.
