Minecraft: Minecon London Gets Dates, Venue

Diary cubes

You know how MineCon ended up postponing its London visit til spring 2015? Well, Mojang have now released details on where and when the gathering will take place... It's the ExCel Centre on July 4th and 5th.

I think it's safe to say "spring" has slipped a little but, as per their postponement post, Mojang needed a confirmed and signed-for venue before making the announcement.

If you're thinking of heading over – perhaps your nearest and dearest simply don't understand why cubes are so important to you and you want to meet like-minded folk – the tickets will be going on sale in February in two batches of 5,000 and panel submissions start in March.

Interestingly, the whole month of July isn't listed at all in ExCel's "What's On" menu. It just skips straight from June to August. Perhaps the venue will be spending the month in the Nether. Or there's a listing error. Both are EQUALLY likely.
