Oblivion Remastered: How to get Azura's Star
How to find Azura's Star and always recharge your weapons

Wondering how to get Azura's Star in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered? Using enchanted weapons is one of the joys of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, but when your blades run out of charge, you'll need to activate a Soul Gem in order to get their powerful magics back on your side. Alas, Soul Gems are expensive one-time use items, but if you obtain Azura's Star, you'll have a Soul Gem under another name that will never break.
In this guide, we'll explain what you need to do to get Azura's Star in Oblivion Remastered and never be without fuel for your enchanted weapons.
How to get Azura's Star in Oblivion
Azura's Star is a reward for completing Azura's Quest, which is fully outlined in our guide of all Daedric Quests in Oblivion. You'll need to be at least level 2 before you can start this quest.
To obtain Azura's Star, venture to the northeastern section of the world map until you come across Azura's Shrine in the mountains north of Cheydinhal. There, speak with Mels Maryon, who will tell you that you need to provide an offering of Glow Dust.
Glow Dust can be obtained by farming Will-o-the-Wisp enemies, but you can also get it from a shop if you don't feel like ghosthunting. It's easiest to purchase it at The Main Ingredient or The Gilded Carafe in the Imperial City's Market District.
Once you've got Glow Dust, wait until it's dusk or dawn (5 to 7 AM or 5 to 7 PM) and return to the Shrine. After offering the dust up, you'll learn that you need to go down to the Gutted Mine southwest of the Shrine.
Inside the mine are five vampires (they're called 'Afflicted Brethren') split across two different rooms. After killing the first two, you need to find a pull rope to open a secret passage that leads into the next room with the final brethren.
These vampires can be a challenge especially if you're only level 2, so be sure to use sneak attacks and flame-based weapons and spells to wear them down, as they have a 50% weakness to Fire. Chug lots of Healing Potions and be wary of their bites lest you become a vampire yourself. (If this happens, give our guide on how to cure vampirism a read.) Once the vampires are sorted, leave Gutted Mine and return to Azura's Shrine to receive Azura's Star.
Azura's Star console command
For those of you who don't feel like going vampire slaying, you can use Oblivion's console commands to cheat your way into obtaining Azura's Star. Keep in mind that using console commands disables achievements.
To activate the console interfact, hit the tilde (~) key, which is located near TAB and 1 on most standard QWERTY keyboard layouts. Then input the following command:
player.additem 00000193 1
Azura's Star will now be in your inventory.
Using Azura's Star

Azura's Star basically acts as the equivalent of a Soul Gem, which store souls and are very useful for recharging your weapons. Instead of breaking after a single use, however, Azura's Star can be used infinitely.
You've still got to charge Azura's Star up, though. You can do so via the same methods you'd utilise to charge a regular Soul Gem - simply cast a Soultrap Spell on an enemy, or dispatch them with a weapon that has the Soultrap enchantment. Once the foe is killed, their soul will be 'trapped' within Azura's Star, offering up one usage.
